Most recipes tell you what to do—they don't tell you why.

My cooking philosophy?

When you understand why you’re supposed to do what a recipe tells you, you will quickly become a better, more confident cook.  You’ll be able to play with ingredients, design your own recipes, and delight the people you love.

Knowing how to cook for your friends, your family, a significant other—just knowing how—is special. It doesn’t have to happen every day.  It doesn’t have to be perfect every time.

Lindsay is an amazing chef! Her food was incredible, with lovely presentation, and her bubbly personality added something extra to our overall experience. The four courses were paired wonderfully, and our entire group couldn’t stop talking about the scallops.

Lindsay prepared a private meal for my birthday and she was both an amazing chef and a wonderful host. Everything she made was delicious (from the cauliflower soup to the salmon to the macarons) and presented beautifully. It was such a great event!

Being with Lindsay was like being at your best friend’s house. I learned all I wanted to know and more about making a beautiful box of macarons. I’m so excited to use the skills I’ve learned from her in my own home!
