This is the first time I've tried this technique and these little DIY Easter eggs turned out so cute!
All you need is:
Modge podge (I used matte finish but anything works!)
A paint brush
Cocktail napkins (I did a full raid of Home Goods)
Eggs (I got these wood ones off Amazon, but plastic or even a blow-out egg would work fine!)
The most important part is separating the napkin—cocktail napkins are usually 3-ply so you want just the very top layer that has the pattern printed on it (you'll think you have one layer, but check again 🤭 you might need a pin or needle to help you separate them).
I cut out some freeform petal shapes that worked well around the rounded shape of the egg, but you can even just rip off small pieces—t's super forgiving. Do a layer of modge podge underneath, gently press the napkin on, then carefully paint a final layer of the modge podge over top. Add all the fun embellishments ... voila!
Let me know if you try making these!
