At Home Spa: Eucalyptus Shower

We’re spillin’ the tea on this fun at-home spa trick! If you’ve been with us for awhile, you know we love creating ways to make everyday moments more special.  Even something like a quick post-workout-I-have-to-hop-on-a-Zoom-in-three-minutes shower can feel special and spa-like.  It doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive, or take up a ton of time.

Quick tips to get your spa vibes goin’:

  • Use 7-10 branches of eucalyptus (fresh or dried both work but I prefer fresh)

  • Bundle them at the base with a rubber band

  • Use a piece of twine or wire to wire the bundle to the back of your shower head

  • Eucalyptus should hang behind shower stream (it’s ok for it to get wet, you just don’t want it directly under the water)

  • Replace after 2-3 weeks (once you stop smelling it)

  • I got my eucalyptus from the SF Flower Mart, but also just found some at Trader Joe’s!
