The Thoughtful Lemon

Even the tiniest things can make us feel really taken care of.

  • The Avis guy who has the keys in your rental and the heater blasting because it’s late, snowing, and he knows you’re tired;

  • The hairdresser who gives you an extra-long scalp massage because he knows how much you love it;

  • The saleswoman at Nordstrom who walks around the counter to hand you your shopping bag because she knows you like to feel fancy and important

Most things we do (for friends, family and even strangers) offer similar chances to delight others in the tiniest ways—if we care to find and execute them.

So while a six-hour beef bourguignon will undoubtedly warm hearts, let’s start small.

May I present:  the thoughtful lemon.  The only way to cut a lemon and avoid its pesky seeds.

Can’t you just imagine squeezing this all over your plate with wild abandon—knowing those bitter seeds are miles away!?

I guarantee any beneficiary of your lemon wedges will be charmed by your thoughtfulness.
